Temporary Tattoos Instructions

DISCLAIMER
We do not recommend the temporary tattoos for children aged 3 years and younger or people with sensitive skin. Are you someone with sensitive skin or someone who is using one of our temporary tattoos for the first time? Then we recommend that you test a small part of the adhesive substrate (the adhesive layer that is in direct contact with the skin and binds the ink to your skin) before applying a full tattoo. If a reaction occurs, please do not use the tattoo!

For all our temporary tattoos, the consumer must follow the instructions and observe the warnings. The responsibility for using our temporary tattoos lies with the consumer and Tattastic is not liable for this.

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Decide where you want to apply the tattoo.

Step 2: Thoroughly clean the area where you want to place the tattoo and ensure that this area is dry and free of hair before applying the tattoo.

Step 3: PLEASE NOTE! If you have a custom design, you should cut the tattoo as close to the edge of the design as possible. (This is due to the adhesive layer that is present on the entire paper instead of just around the design!)

Step 4: Remove the transparent layer from the tattoo and place the tattoo on your skin.

Step 5: Lightly press the tattoo with wet paper or towel for 30 seconds.

Step 6: Gently slide the paper off your skin to complete the transfer.

Step 7: Give the tattoo enough time to dry, think of 3 to 5 minutes.

Be aware that the first 24 hours of the tattoo are the most sensitive, so avoid rubbing your tattoo during this period! Factors such as wearing clothing over the tattoo reduce the quality of the tattoo.

Our tattoos are perfect for those who want to give themselves a different look from time to time. Wear our tattoos at parties, festivals or at home to test a tattoo idea, just because you can! After all, they are only temporary!

How does Impermanent Ink work?

The ink of our Impermanent Ink tattoos absorbs into the first layer of skin and a natural reaction colors the skin dark blue or black. This depends on your skin type.

The natural regeneration of the skin ensures that the tattoo remains visible for 7 to 14 days.

How can the tattoo look so realistic?

Temporary tattoos that you know from the past, often called stick-on pictures, are stuck on the skin while the Impermanent Ink tattoos penetrate the first layer of skin and a natural reaction ensures that the skin turns dark. Our temporary tattoos are therefore friction resistant and have a realistic look.

Are the tattoos waterproof?

Our tattoos are water resistant. That means you can swim with them, but keep in mind that the tattoo can fade faster. Sweating, for example through sports or a sauna, can even make the tattoo darker.

Safety and ingredients

Do the tattoos have an expiration date?

The Impermanent Ink has a shelf life of 12 months and should be stored in a cool, dark place. However, we recommend using the tattoos immediately upon receipt.

Are Impermanent Ink tattoos safe?

The ink of the Impermanent Ink tattoos is plant-based made with skin-safe ingredients. Our tattoos are the only ones in the Netherlands approved according to the European Cosmetics Act.

What's in the tattoos?

Our Impermanent Ink tattoos contain the following ingredients:

Polyethylacrylate, Genipa Americana Fruit Extract, Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate, Dipropylene Glycol Dibenzoate, Polyvinyl Butyral, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate

Safety instructions

Our temporary tattoos may contain ingredients that you have not previously come into contact with. This may cause you to have an allergic reaction after applying the tattoo. In case of skin intolerance or in case of doubt, consult a doctor before applying the temporary tattoos. If itching or redness occurs, rinse immediately and discontinue use, as this may indicate a serious reaction. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product has come into contact with the eyes, rinse your eyes immediately.
